You can use 28ct white Lugana even weave fabric or 14ct Aida

and played the piano like a wild thing - her favorite tunes were the "Donauwellen" by Josef Ivanovici - I can still see her hands fly over those keys - I miss her

all in bold colors that sets her sampler well apart from the more traditional samplers of her day

Ann did both, she practiced her stitching to perfection for her young age and also voiced her religious convictions in this more than unusual sampler. She also died at a fairly young age.
