The designers have continued to hit the notes from Strixhaven and Adventures in the Forgotten Realms, making cards that are thought-provoking without being just generically good

So far, theres no one deck/card/strategy that appears to be taking over, but theres still time for that to be discovered and played

That means they have green mana symbols somewhere on the card, whether in the casting cost, rules text, or both, but they contain no other colored mana symbols

It doesnt really stand out among its counterparts, but its flexibility is second to none

Two caveats here: the creatures you sacrifice to this will draw you cards, which is nuts, and being Black, you should usually be able to have some say in which creatures are "sacrificed" here, via other removal

Combat damage isnt the only way a token deck can win, however
