I think that having disruption makes the game more interesting: you have to account for it when deckbuilding (dont play a deck with 35 Items if Item lock is popular!), and it offers ways to make the game less straightforward than a simple Prize race
I would guess it wont be good enough, here, but maybe it will find a home in some kind of token deck
After that I like Lyzolda, the Blood Witch or Gisela, Blade of Goldnight
I especially like swiping commanders with this since changing control doesnt send the commander to the command zone, forcing the impacted player to waste a removal spell on their commander before recasting it
