The player achieves this with the use of their Pokmon's "moves" which can achieve different purposes like attacking, buffing, debuffing, or inflicting status effects
You also really have no control over what permanents your enemies choose to keep around in the third chapter, and three nonland permanents is enough wiggle room where I cant count on it to remove anything I actually care about

That card is clearly bottom heavy, and not perfectly centered
